This easy Tri-Tip Steak is one of the tastiest and juiciest you’ll ever make. Cooked stovetop in a cast-iron skillet, with simple herbs, it’s bursting with the most incredible flavor.
– Olive Oil – Kosher salt – Ground pepper – Garlic powder – Rosemary leaves – Tri-tip steak
1. Heat a couple of tablespoons of olive oil in a large cast iron skillet or other heavy-duty skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary in a small bowl. Blot off the steaks with paper towels. Rub the salt mixture on all sides of the steak and place in the hot skillet.
3. Cook for another 2-3 minutes for more well done steaks. (For thinner steaks, reduce cooking time by 3-5 minutes).
4. Remove steaks from skillet and loosely cover with aluminum foil. Rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
